Hi, I’m Shauna.

I came to counselling after years of supporting people through coaching, yoga, movement, nutrition, wellness, and my work in brain injury rehabilitation. Along the way, I kept seeing the same thing: our mental, physical, and emotional well-being are deeply connected, and sometimes what people need most is simply a safe place to be fully themselves.

My counselling style is relaxed, genuine, curious, and down-to-earth. I don’t believe you need to have the “right” words, know exactly what you want to work on, or have everything figured out before you walk through the door. We’ll start wherever you are.

I work from a whole-person, trauma-informed perspective and draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and person-centred counselling. More than anything, I believe in the importance of the relationship we create together. I’ll listen, ask questions, challenge you when it might be helpful, probably laugh with you sometimes, and walk alongside you as we make sense of whatever brought you here.

I don’t believe people are broken. I believe life sometimes pulls us away from ourselves—and counselling can be a place to find our way back.

Come as you are.
